Sediko Rakolote

Dr. Rakolote is a distinguished governance leader and expert in stakeholder and government relations, with more than two decades of experience. His career spans the public, corporate, and non governmental sectors, reflecting a unique blend of grassroots impact and executive leadership.

He has held leadership positions at De Beers Consolidated Mines, Bushveld Minerals, Wesizwe/Bakubung Platinum Mine, and AngloGold Ashanti, where he advanced stakeholders and government relations, sustainability strategies, and corporate social investment programmes that aligned business objectives with community development. In the non governmental sector, Dr. Rakolote contributed to organizations such as the Ndlovu Care Group, Sports Coaches Outreach Organization, and Lovelife Organization, promoting socio economic empowerment at the community level.

His governance expertise includes serving as a Non Executive Director at the Community Schemes Ombud Service, Commissioner at the Commission for Gender Equality, and Member of the Department of Sociology Academic Advisory Board at the University of the Free State. He is also the Founder and Trustee of the Progressive Socio Economic Investment Institute Trust, a public benefit trust dedicated to advancing transformation and development.
